The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) has concluded close to twenty Erasmus+ Inter Institutional agreements with European universities which will see a significant increase in student and staff mobilities abroad during 2023 – 2025.
Five NUST students undertook internships in Switzerland in the first semester of 2023, while a further seven students from the university were selected to undertake internships in the central European country during the second semester.
Six Swiss-based industry experts undertook volunteer guest lecturing assignments at NUST during the first semester of 2023, as the B360 Sending South Programme continued its legacy of sharing know-how and skills transfer between European professionals and undergraduate students in Namibia.
Six NUST students left to Denmark as exchange students recently where they will be studying for five months in collaboration with the Aalborg University (AAU). Professor Heike Winschiers-Theophilus of NUST and Professor Kasper Rodil of AAU made the student exchange possible through the two parties’ long-standing collaboration that spans more than ten years.
Five NUST students will depart for Switzerland on 31 January 2023 to participate in the B360 Education Partnerships (B360) Sending North Programme to undertake industry internships at companies in the central European country.
