FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs): NUST OCTOBER GRADUATION

You can confirm by:

  • Checking your academic record under Annual Results on the Student Portal.

  • Contacting your Faculty Officer for verification.

  • Students who have successfully completed all prescribed courses for their qualification.

  • Students whose results have been approved by Senate.

  • Letters of Completion/Graduation letters will be sent via email and made available through the Student Portal in due course. Please ensure your contact details are up to date.
  • Students are advised to source their own graduation attire from a supplier of their choice. However, it is important to first consult the NUST Graduation Office or your Faculty officer to confirm the correct graduation hood colour.
  • No. All graduands will attend the graduation ceremony at the main campus (Windhoek).

 

  • The Spring Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for 10 October 2025 at the Mercure Hotel (formerly known as Safari Hotel).

 

  • Bachelor’s to PhD graduands: 2 guest tickets
  • Graduands must wear formal or traditional attire beneath their academic gowns.
  • Arrival times and seating arrangements will be indicated on your guest tickets and published on the NUST website.
  • Yes. The ceremony will be live-streamed, and professional photographers will be available on site.

Certificates will be issued:

  • Immediately after the ceremony for those attending in person.

  • From Wednesday, 15 October 2025 for those who did not attend the ceremony.

  • All outstanding fees must be settled by 03 October 2025. Graduands who have not cleared their debts will be allowed to participate in the ceremony; however, their certificates will be withheld until all dues are paid.
