International Staff

In an effort to expose our students to international trends and practices, NUST promotes Internationalisation on campus and in the classroom. More than 45% of the academic staff at NUST are international staff, representing countries such as Nigeria, Sweden, Kenya, India, and the United States (2015).

International Activities

NUST annually hosts a week-long Cultural Festival to celebrate Namibia’s diverse cultural heritage and international cultures through wide range of activities. These include a parade, cultural performances, an International Cuisine Day and theatrical shows. The Department of International Relations hosts an International Education Day annually. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of international exposure to higher education students, and also seeks to inform national students and staff about international education opportunities.
