Internationalisation on Campus
NUST annually hosts a weeklong Cultural Festival to celebrate Namibia’s diverse cultural heritage and international cultures through a wide range of activities. These include a parade, cultural performances, an International Cuisine Day and theatrical shows. The International Relations hosts an International Education Week annually. This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of international exposure and seeks to inform students and staff about education opportunities abroad.
International Academic Staff
In an effort to expose our students to international trends and practices, NUST promotes Internationalisation on campus and in teaching and learning. More than 45% of the academic staff at NUST are international staff coming from countries such as Nigeria, Sweden, Kenya, India, and the United States (2020).
