Bachelor of Public Management

Course Overview

The Bachelor of Public Management is purposefully designed to train generalists for employment predominately in the public sector and civil society organisations; while also catering for the needs of the private sector. The programme provides a systematic and coherent introduction to the main theories, broad principles, concepts, data, and problem - solving techniques in the main cognate area of learning.

The Bachelor of Public Management has been revised in accordance with institutional policy requirements. The curriculum review was aimed, primarily, at ensuring continued relevance of the programme, as well as full compliance with curriculum fr amework and National Qualifications Framework (NQF) requirements.

Admissions Requirements

General admission requirements of NUST including an E-symbol in Mathematics on NSSC Ordinary Level.

Career Opportunities

Senior positions in finance, economics, human resources management in government public enterprises, and NGOs.
