Five NUST undergraduate students, Tokolo Kashupi, Kleophas Nampadhi, Rosalia Hamunyela, Trust Mhlanga and Magdalena Nangolo, recently spent five months on an exchange visit to the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. The trip was sponsored by the German Exchange Service (DAAD). “I attended lectures that were delivered by different business experts and academics from both Europe and Africa. This made me question everything about Namibia, from business to education. I feel Namibia really needs to be on par with developed countries, especially in the public transport sector. I am confident that Namibian computing, and transport and logistics students can really make a difference if we work together,” said Kashupi, a Business Informatics student. “For me, this trip highlighted the value of learning new things and making friends internationally. The world is a global village, hence networking is important,” remarked Nampadhi, a Transport Management student.
