The Namibia University of Science and Technology offers Full-time (FM), Part-time (PM), Distance Education (DE), and extra-curricular courses. As of 2010 the Namibia University of Science and Technology will be enrolling more than 11000 students. The medium of instruction is English. Three hostels on campus provide a bed-capacity of 429 to both male and female full-time students. Cultural experience enriches the individual as it also gives a broader understanding of the world experience. It brings about a better sense of tolerance and an overall improved understanding of the diversity of other cultures - national and internationally. For this reason, the Namibia University of Science and Technology encourages the establishment of cultural societies on campus. The Namibia University of Science and Technology also offers a wide range of student services, and sports and recreational activities.
