The ILM pilot project was aimed at developing and testing a sustainable model for continuous skills development of NUST staff by leveraging internal expertise and learning resources.
During this pilot project NUST staff underwent training in a range of topics, including Basic Project Management, Workshop Facilitation Skills and Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills. These training courses were offered free of charge and carried out at no direct cost to NUST.
The Certificate Handover Ceremony was officiated by Jonas Ileka, Senior Business Partner: Orgnaisational Development and Learning at NUST.
“We were able to deliver training valued at N$700 00.00 to over 600 participants during the peak of a global pandemic,” Ileka said. The ILM pilot was driven by the HR Department with support from the Institutional Planning Department, Center for Enterprise Development (CED), Teaching and Learning Unit (TLU), and the Department of Management Sciences.
Certificates of Completion were awarded to eachparticipantwhosuccessfullycompleted their course.
