POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN DEVELOPMENT FINANCE

This one-year programme, which includes both coursework and a project component, aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, implement, and manage development finance policies and projects. Students will gain expertise in creating microlevel development finance interventions to address pressing financing needs and challenges, as well as analysing banking and finance issues in emerging markets.

DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN APPLIED LINGUISTICS

The PhD in Applied Linguistics by Research  at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in order to investigate, design, and conduct independent research of applied nature, in any area  of Applied Linguistics.  PhD candidates   will be able to develop and apply advanced research methods and techniques and deal with a sophisticated problem connected with the topic of interest. In context, students will be exposed to specific advanced language research methodologies, procedures, theories, and principles.

MASTER OF ACCOUNTING

The programme is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the accounting field. This programme integrates coursework and research, empowering students to navigate and solve complex financial and accounting challenges effectively.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT

The Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement Management (Level 8) Programme primarily aims at providing students with a rigorous conceptual framework, systematic knowledge on the best practices in the areas at the forefront of procurement management while ensuring the efficient and effective utilisation of the organisational resources. The programme further equips students with advanced knowledge of sustainable public procurement practices to promote integrity, transparency and the attainment of national developmental goals.

MASTER OF HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM INNOVATION MANAGEMENT

The Master of Hospitality and Tourism Innovation Management is a coursework and research‐based postgraduate programme designed to enable students to critically examine the characteristics and frameworks of the tourism and hospitality business and evaluate the scope for innovation management within them. Students will be able to apply concepts, theories, and methods of management required to effectively analyse and craft tourism and hospitality management strategies that can give an organisation a competitive advantage in the highly competitive tourism industry.
