NUST at the centre of Aviation Development talks...
The Namibia University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with its longstanding partner, Tampere University in Finland, are in serious talks to develop skills across the African Aviation value chain.
NUST celebrated a major milestone at the launch of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Water Research for Climate Adaptation and Saline Agriculture in Arid Environments, as well as the UNESCO Chair for Secure High-Performance Computing for Higher Education and Research.
NUST’s Department of Computer Sciences (DCS) hosted a two-day hackathon aimed at creating
an interactive platform that virtually illustrated the unique Namdeb Diamond Corporation (NDC)
mining process in Oranjemund.
Represented by the University’s Directorate of Research, Innovation and Partnerships (DRIP), NUST received an accolade for Organisational Growth in Research Management at the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) 2022 Awards Ceremony recently. The awards ceremony formed part of the 2022 SARIMA conference that was held in Johannesburg, South Africa, an event that attracted emerging and seasoned research managers from approximately 28 countries and 50 institutions.
