NUST Metropolitan Eenhana Career Inspires Futures
The 2025 NUST Metropolitan Eenhana Career Fair delivered big numbers and even bigger inspiration last week, as 1 176 eager learners descended on the NUST Eenhana Campus to explore their academic and career horizons.
Backed by Metropolitan Namibia for the third year running, the two-day fair brought together youth from 58 schools and 10 education circuits — all under one celebratory theme: “A Decade of Eminence: Celebrating Education, Science and Technology for Development.” Martin Nangombe, the Regional Manager for the Northern Region at Metropolitan Namibia, said: “Career fairs are not just events — they are catalysts. They spark curiosity, forge connections, and plant the seeds of careers yet to bloom.”
Music met motivation as local talents Mbuku, Ecstasy, A-Jay Soundman, and Naveuye Mos took to the stage, proving that career prep can also mean dancing in your school uniform.
For NUST, it was another proud milestone in making higher education more accessible — especially in remote areas like the Ohangwena region. “The Career Fair is about more than just sharing information — it is about inspiring the hearts, minds, and spirits of the learners who attend,” Mr Simon Amunime, NUST Faculty Officer remarked.
