Description

The B.Sc. degree programme in Applied Mathematics and Statistics is a 3-year combined degree programme aimed at fulfilling the following objectives upon completion by the graduates: To be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Mathematics and Statistics in modelling and solving problems related to business, economics, management and other real world phenomena; to select and apply advanced Mathematical and Statistical techniques logically and scientifically to analyse, transform and evaluate data and concepts to resolve given problems and to be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in the use of problem-solving computational tools such as MATLAB, SPSS and other emerging platforms.

Admission Requirements

25 Points including a minimum B-symbol on NSSC(O) Mathematics and an E-symbol in English. Candidates that obtained a C-symbol will be required to sit for an entrance test in Mathematics.
