Update Your Academic Profile

Follow these step-by-step instructions to access your faculty site, reset your password using a one-time login, and update your staff profile. Use the screenshots and short video to guide you.

Steps to Reset and Access Academic Staff Profile

Visit Faculty
Website

Navigate to your respective NUST faculty website (for example febe.nust.na) using your preferred browser.

Click 'Staff Profile'
Button

Click the 'My Staff Profile' button usually located in the top-right of the faculty site to open profile management tools.

Reset Your
Password

When logging onto the faculty website for the first time, click 'Reset Password', enter your NUST email address and click on submit. Password reset instructions will be emailed to you.

Click the One-Time
Login Link

Open the email from your faculty website and click the ONE-TIME LOGIN link. This link is valid for one use (typically 24 hours).

Login & Change
Password

After clicking the link in the email, you'll be logged in automatically. Set a new secure password in the 'Profile Access' section for future logins.

Update and Save
Your Profile

Edit profile fields (name, photo, biography, publications). Click Save to publish your changes. If changes do not show, clear cache or contact the Webmasters.

Common issues and quick fixes to help you update your profile smoothly.

Check your spam/junk folder and ensure you’re using your NUST email address. If it still doesn’t arrive, contact the Webmasters.

One-time links typically expire after 24 hours. Request a new password reset and use the new link immediately.

Ensure all required fields are filled correctly. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. If the issue persists, contact the faculty web admin.
