Description
The Postgraduate Diploma in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Management (NQF Level 8) is a new one-year course to be offered by the Faculty of Commerce, Human Sciences and Education. The programme consists of both coursework and research project components. It aims to prepare individuals for leadership roles in the dynamic and evolving field of TVET management, ensuring they are equipped to address the challenges and opportunities within the sector.
This programme is designed to equip current and aspiring managers with the specialised knowledge and leadership skills required to navigate the complexities of TVET environments. It ensures that leaders are proficient in strategic planning, quality assurance, and financial management, all of which are vital for maintaining the relevance and sustainability of TVET programmes.
Admission Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree at NQF Level 7 (360 Credits) from a recognised institution. Additional selection standards/criteria will be made at the discretion of the department.
