Selma Ashipembe is an accredited Chief Development and Training Officer at the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development, where she has been playing an impeccable role in contributing to the Ministry. During her studies, she has obtained a National Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2007, a Bachelor of Technology in Human Resource Management in 2009, and a Master of Leadership and Change Management in 2023.

She strives to help and shape young leaders to thrive in their careers, navigate change, lead diverse teams, and build healthy, effective organisations, through face-to-face coaching and online courses. On her studies at NUST she quoted saying “Human Resources has always been an interest of mine, but studying at NUST has helped me ascend a mere interest in Human Resource to a reverent passion.’’
