Study Permit Renewal for Senior Students

Students whose permits expired on 28 February 2025 are invited to submit their applications for the 2025 academic year. Students awaiting their police clearance may submit their application along with a receipt of payment and a letter explaining why the Namibian police clearance was not attached. 

STUDY PERMIT RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Application for renewal - Questionnaire 

Application for re-entry Visa 

Proof of registration 

Previous academic transcript 

Written undertaking with sponsor’s valid contact details 

Copy of current permit endorsed in passport 

Namibian police clearance certificate (Original) 

Lease Agreement/Proof of residence 

 

Applications can be accessed via the Ministry’s website at www.mha.gov.na and may also be submitted directly at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security.
