About the Speaker
Prof Herbert Dreher, a distinguished figure in industrial manufacturing and management, has seamlessly navigated both academia and industry, leaving an enduring impact. From his early research and consultancy roles at the University of Stuttgart and the Fraunhofer-Institute in Germany, under the mentorship of Prof. Warnecke and Prof. Schraft, to executive leadership positions at renowned automotive companies such as ITT Automotive and Continental AG, Professor Dreher has demonstrated exceptional leadership. Transitioning to academia in 2009, he has served as a Professor, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and currently as the President of DHBW Ravensburg. Proficient in German and English, he has contributed 25 scientific publications. Beyond his professional achievements, Professor Dreher finds joy in family, golf, table tennis, and his involvement with Rotary, embodying a well-rounded and accomplished career.
