Description
This one-year programme, which includes both coursework and a project component, aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, implement, and manage development finance policies and projects. Students will gain expertise in creating microlevel development finance interventions to address pressing financing needs and challenges, as well as analysing banking and finance issues in emerging markets.
Admission Requirements
1. To be considered for admission to this programme, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or other finance-related disciplines at NQF Level 7, worth at least NQF 360 credits.
2. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in a non-finance-related discipline, a strong quantitative background, and at least one year’s work experience in a financial or finance-related role.
3. Applicants may be required to address any academic gaps identified by the Department.
