I acknowledge that I am participating in the NUST Marathon voluntarily and at my own risk. I certify that I am physically fit and in good health to participate in this event. I understand that running and walking in a marathon may involve risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, accidents, dehydration, or medical emergencies.
I hereby release and hold harmless the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), the NUST Foundation, all event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and any affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that may arise directly or indirectly from my participation in this event.
I understand and agree that:

• I am responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred as a result of injury or illness during or after the event.
• I will follow all race rules, safety instructions, and guidance provided by organizers and marshals.
• I grant the event organizers the right to use photographs, video, and audio recordings of me taken during the event for promotional purposes, without compensation.
• I understand that entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
